Burua is a local plant care record and reminder app. It is designed to help you create plant cards, track care tasks, store photos and notes, and review your own gardening history on your device.
This policy applies to information handled through the app, support requests, and purchases that are processed through Apple or the App Store.
Information You Provide
You may enter plant names, nicknames, locations, light conditions, pot size, soil details, watering frequency, fertilizing cycles, repotting cycles, task notes, skip reasons, and similar care records.
You may also add plant photos, growth photos, and other content you choose to save with a plant card or timeline entry.
Automatically Collected Information
The app may store basic device and usage information needed to operate features such as local reminders, search, exports, and backup functions. This can include device settings, app version, language, and similar technical data.
If you allow notifications, the device may also store reminder-related settings so the app can show scheduled care alerts.
How We Use Information
We use the information inside the app to create plant cards, generate today's care list, schedule reminders, record task completion or skips, and keep a timeline of plant care activity.
We also use information to support local search, export and import features, backup and restore flows, troubleshooting, and app improvement.
AI Processing Boundaries
Burua does not provide AI plant identification or AI diagnosis features in the MVP described for this app. The app is intended to work as a local record and reminder tool, not as a medical, botanical, or expert decision service.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Plant records, photos, and notes are kept on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share them yourself.
Some information may be processed by Apple, the App Store, or the operating system provider when you download the app, make a purchase, receive a push notification, or use platform services.
Purchases and Platform Services
If you buy Coins or other in-app items, the purchase is handled by Apple or the App Store. We may receive purchase status, product identifiers, and related transaction details needed to deliver the unlocked content or features.
Apple may also collect and process information under its own policies and terms.
Retention and Local Storage
Your plant records are stored locally until you delete them or remove the app. Export files, backups, and photos remain under your control based on where you save them.
If support contact information is sent to us, we may keep it for as long as needed to respond to the request and maintain records of that communication.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed for a local app environment. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so you should protect your device, backups, and shared exports.
Your Choices
You can control the information you add, delete plant cards, remove photos, change reminder settings, and choose whether to export or back up your records.
If you do not want reminders, you can disable notifications in the device settings.
Children's Privacy
Burua is intended for general users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate authorization.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app changes or when legal, technical, or operational requirements change. The updated version will apply from the time it is posted or otherwise made available.
